We at King Bee Construction are more than just your average contractor. We care about our community. We want to help our clients achieve their desired goals within their desired budget and timeline. Being a resource for this community is also high on our list of priorities. We work with local and National organizations for the betterment of this wonderful place we call home.
Some of the organizations we are involved in and feel strongly about are the Builders Assocation of Northern Nevada, also known as BANN. We are also heavily involved in the Reno/Sparks Chamber of Commerce, WE of the World and eWomen Network.
We work to reduce, reuse and recycle! When we perform work on someones home or property, if there is usable materials being replaced we will do what we can to deliver those items to someone that can use them or dispose of them while being environmentally conscious. We donate to Habitat For Humanity, The Salvation Army and more!
To give you a little insight on the organizations we are involved in, I have prepared a brief summary on each one to share with you.
BANN advocates for our industry in every way. They are also our voice in Carson City. They take our issues to the top. We assist BANN however possible. Working on their membership committee to help connect the members is one way that we give back. It is fun and we stay close to the issues facing the membership here in the Truckee Meadow Area.
The Chamber of Commerce is amazing in every way. I am a Champber Diplomat. I work closely with other diplomats to be a resource for the businesses here in this area as well as provide advertisement for our other fellow Chamber members. Being a part of the Chamber is extremely rewarding. When you give you get.
WE of the World is another organization we feel strongly about. The "WE" stands for Women Entreprenuers. I am the Chapter President in Reno. The organization's mission is to provide financial assistance to women through scholarship opportunities, mentoring programs for all stages and industries of business, business education and personal and professional balance. Each element of the organizational structure adds to the local economy and bolsters members' success in the business world.
eWomen Network is another fabulous organization to belong to. This organization was created to help women achieve, succeed and prosper in every area of our lives. You gain new contacts and are able to promote what you have to others. The membership community is loyal and committed. This group provides access to needed resources. As a member we have become a resource to the other members. Our goal.
I hope this blog provides a little more insight on some of the ways that we give back to our community. We do these things because we care and want to give back however we can.
